IIG Vietnam and Hanoi Open University signed a memorandum of understanding on improving the quality of English and Computer skills training programs according to international standards

On October 24, 2022, IIG Vietnam and Hanoi Open University held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in exploiting resources and capacity in the fields of English and Computer skills training according to international standards, in order to provide high-quality human resources to meet the social requirements.

Attending the Signing Ceremony were, on behalf of Hanoi Open University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhung – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Tam – Head of Scientific Management and External Relations Department, Dr. Tran Thi Lan Thu – Head of Training Management Department, Dr. Thai Thanh Tung – Vice Dean of Fundamental Training Faculty, on behalf of IIG Vietnam, Mr. Doan Hong Nam, Chairman and General Director, Ms. Cao Thu Binh – Manager of Project Development Department 2, Ms. Le Ngoc Doan Trang – Deputy Manager of Project Development Department 2 and other staff.

Accordingly, the two parties agreed to cooperate in training teachers, working towards a total TOEIC- oriented training solution, organizing TOEIC courses and administering tests. The two parties also work together to provide professional training for IT teachers, providing IT total training solutions in accordance with international standards; organizing IC3/MOS/ACPro courses and administering tests.

In addition, the two parties agreed to implement a number of joint activities, including exploiting technology infrastructure for English and Computer skills training; improving the quality of the University’s English and computer training programs according to international standards; organizing conferences and workshops on testing and training; holding sharing sessions between the parties; cooperating in branding, admission and recruitment.

The cooperation of the two parties opens up opportunities for students to experience high-quality learning environments according to international standards.

In the signing ceremony, Mr. Doan Hong Nam – Chairman and General Director of IIG Vietnam also highly appreciated the University’s history of development and technological advantages. IIG Vietnam hopes the University’s students will be empowered to access and experience world-class English and Computer skills learning approaches.

In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhung – Rector of Hanoi Open University acknowledged the importance of the school–enterprise cooperation. Since the early days, the University has determined that foreign languages and computer skills is the second priority, just after professional development. With nearly 14,000 full-time students and 10,000 distant students, the University hopes this memorandum of understanding with IIG Vietnam will lay a solid foundation for implementing more extensive activities in the future.
