ETS – IIG Scholarship awarding ceremony

On 11th March 2011, the 2011 ETS – IIG scholarship awarding ceremony was solemnly held at IIG Vietnam headquarter – IIG Buidling – 75 Giang Van Minh – Hanoi.

The ETS – IIG scholarship fund was established with an aim to making contributions to Vietnam’s education development in particular and society development in general. The annual ETS – IIG scholarship fund co-established by ETS and IIG will be used to grant scholarships to individuals including students, staffs, employees who have outstanding achievements in their studying and working at universities, colleges and businesses in Vietnam.

In order to make the ETS – IIG scholarship program more accessible to outstanding students , seminars were held introducing the 2011 ETS – IIG scholarship at several gifted and international high schools in Hanoi including Tran Phu, Kim Lien, Hanoi Academy, Doan Thi Diem, Viet Duc. Despite the limited number of schools, the influence was quite strong and also attracted great attention from students and school managing boards as well.

After two months since the kick-off of ETS – IIG scholarship program, the selection committee has conducted thorough screening and testing process to select the most outstanding candidates for this year full scholarships including

  • 75 TOEIC Proficiency scholarships for outstanding students, staffs studying and working at schools, universities and enterprises in Hanoi.
  • 45 TOEFL iBT scholarships for outstanding students of high schools and international schools in Hanoi.
